Furry Friends
Let's be honest— pets steal the show. Whether it’s a perfectly timed zoomie or a quiet look of trust, animals have a beautiful way of being fully themselves—and that’s what I love capturing most. These connections—with pets, their quirks, and the stories they carry—are what inspire my photography. I aim to capture the essence of who your pet is, the love they bring to your life, and the quiet (or loud!) moments that make your bond one of a kind. No stiff poses or forced smiles—just honest, joyful images that feel real. More paws, whiskers, and personalities — over on Instagram.
Dogtography
Every dog has their own story—and their own quirks! These are just a few of the amazing dogs I’ve had the pleasure of photographing.
Catography
Cat person or dog person? I say—why choose? But let’s be honest, cats have a way of stealing the spotlight (and the warmest seat in the house). With their quirky personalities and camera-ready attitudes, they’re naturals in front of the lens.
You and Your Pets
Why should pets have all the spotlight? Some of the most heartwarming moments happen when you're in the frame too—whether it's a cuddle, a walk, or just a quiet moment together. Let’s capture the connection that makes your relationship one of a kind.
Behind the Lens
I’ve been lucky to share my life with some wonderful animals over the years: a regal Keeshond named Bo, two sweet rescue dogs, Dandy and Simon, and four wonderful shelter cats, all now gone but forever part of my heart.
In late 2019, a very pregnant stray cat appeared at my door, walked in like she owned the place, and gave birth to six kittens under my bed. SPCA found loving homes for the kittens, but I couldn’t part with their mama. That’s Misi—my fiercely independent tortoiseshell with a mind of her own (and yes, plenty of tortie-tude).
More recently, I adopted Sophie, a 14-year-old poodle with the gentlest soul. She and Misi coexist in what I call mutual polite disinterest—they could probably co-author a book titled “How to Ignore Each Other (and Still Run the Household).”
These stories are a reminder of the quiet, joyful, and sometimes hilarious moments we share with our pets—and why I love photographing them so much.
“10/10 experience, highly recommended. Alicia took some photos of my dog and I and she was excellent to work with - very patient with me and my troublesome Cavalier King Charles. So pleased with the results, a fantastic investment and well worth it.”
